Home remedies for Blackheads

Cinnamon

Cinnamon helps clear the clogged pores thus tightens the skin pores. Apply Cinnamon mixed with few drops of lemon juice may help reduce the condition. Repeat twice or thrice a week.

Tea tree oil

Anti-comedogenic properties in tea tree oil helps remove blackheads and clogged pores. We all know that tea tree oil is great for oily/acne prone skin. Tea tree oil is also a great option for clogged pores. 

Mix few drops of tea tree oil with any carrier oil of your choice and apply on affected areas. Repeat 2-3 times a day for a week to see visible difference.

Strawberry

Strawberries are rich sources of vitamin C or ascorbic acid. Vitamin C helps keep the skin hydrated and moisturized. This reduces the occurrence of blackheads as dry and dead skin cells are eliminated. 

Mix a teaspoon of strawberry paste with few drops of lemon juice and honey. Apply this on blackheads prone area and leave it on for 15 mins and wash-off. Repeat thrice a week.

Egg white

Egg white is known for its skin tightening abilities. When applied directly on affected area tightens skin pores and forces blackheads out.

Tomatoes

As like Egg white, Tomatoes are also known for its pore-shrinking and oil absorbing properties. Tomatoes are enriched with Vitamin C which makes it a great option for people with oily and clogged pores. 

Cut a slice of tomato and massage on your face or on blackhead prone areas for 10 minutes and wash-off with plain water. Repeat this everyday for better results.

 

Baking Soda

Baking Soda is an Natural exfoliator. Make a paste of Baking soda and water and apply on affected area. Gently massage for 5 mins and wash off with plain water. Repeat twice a week for better results.

Green tea

Green tea is another great remedy for clogged pores. Mix green tea powder with water and make it a paste. Gently Scrub this mixture on the affected area for 10 minutes and wash-off. 

This scrub helps deep cleanse the oily and clogged pores. This Remedy is great for oily & combination skin.

Rice flour

Rice flour is an excellent exfoliating agent. It helps remove dead skin cells and unclog pores. Mix 1 tsp. rice flour with water and make it as a paste. After steaming, use this mixture to gently exfoliate the areas prone to blackheads.
